With the 133rd annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show set to get underway at Madison Square Garden on Monday, February 9, the excitement and anticipation for the America's top canine “Best in Show” is here. The Faithful Friends pair of Frei and Uno provide excitement and insight into the show’s judging as well as the after show opportunities that comes from becoming the ‘Top Dog’ on Drs. Begun in 1877, the Westminster Kennel Club All Breed Dog Show is America's second-longest continuously held sporting event, behind only the Kentucky Derby. This year's competition has drawn 2,522 dogs from 49 states, the District of Columbia and at least seven foreign countries. The 170 breeds and varieties are broken down into seven groups; Hound, Terrier, Non-Sporting, Herding, Sporting, Working and Toy. A panel of 38 judges from 17 states and Canada will make the difficult decisions and Best In Show will be judged by Ms. Sari Brewster Tietjen of New York. USA Network will televise the evening competition live each night at 8 p.m. (et). However, on Monday night after the first hour of the telecast on USA Network fans will have to tune into CNBC starting at 9 p.m. for the final two hours.
